IMDG Code training became mandatory for all shore side staff involved in dangerous goods transport by sea from 1 January 2010.
The aim of the course is to train shore-side personnel in the understanding and application of the IMDG Code to allow them to safely and efficiently perform their role in the transport of dangerous goods by sea. This course is run in accordance with chapter 1.3 of the IMDG Dangerous Goods by Sea regulations. Continuous exercises and assessment takes place throughout the course.
Following the course, candidates will be able to prepare, mark, label & document a consignment of dangerous goods for sea freight. They will be able to sign and certify the shippers declaration for the transport pf dangerous goods by sea. Each participant will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance by Robin Mulligan Ltd.
The latest Edition IMDG Code is required for each participant on this course.
